Because we use Google Authentication, we collect minimal personal data to provide the Service:
- Identity Data: When you log in via Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture URL. We use this only to identify your account and personalize your dashboard.
- User Content: We store the analog film scans (images) and any associated metadata (e.g., film stock, camera used) that you voluntarily upload.
- Usage Data: We may collect basic technical information through our hosting provider, Vercel, such as your IP address and browser type, to ensure the security and performance of the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data strictly to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain your personal image archive.
- Manage your "Free" or "Pro" subscription status.
- Communicate with you regarding account updates or technical issues.
- Display your images to you (and only to others if you explicitly choose to "feature" them).
We do not sell your personal data or your images to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide this Service, we share data with the following essential processors:
- Google Auth: For secure account authentication.
- Vercel: For hosting the application and managing server-side logic.
- Cloud Storage (via Vercel/AWS): Your images are stored securely on infrastructure managed through Vercel.
- Stripe (Optional): If you subscribe to a "Pro" plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Storage Duration: We store your images as long as your account is active.
- Auto-Deletion: As noted in our Terms of Service, accounts inactive for 365 days will be deleted, along with all associated images, to manage storage costs.
- User-Initiated Deletion: You may delete your images or your entire account at any time within the app settings. Once deleted, images are removed from our active database (though they may persist in encrypted backups for a short period).
5. Image Privacy & NSFW Content
- Privacy by Default: Your uploads are private to your account unless you explicitly opt-in to a public "Featured" gallery.
- Employee Access: We do not view your images unless necessary to resolve a technical support issue or to comply with a legal obligation (e.g., a report of illegal content).
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. By using Google Authentication, we ensure that we never handle or store your passwords. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
8. International Data Transfers
Our Service is hosted on Vercel. Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside of your state or country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
